Privacy Policy

Sundial Tree Care connects Redding-area homeowners with independent, third-party tree service providers for removal, trimming, and stump grinding work. We don't perform tree work ourselves — we help you find a provider who does.

What information we collect

When you submit our contact or quote-request form, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, phone number, service address or zip code, and a description of the tree work you need. If you call our tracked phone number, we collect standard call-tracking data (the number you called from, call duration, and, if recorded, the call audio — see "Call recording," below). We also use standard website analytics that collect non-identifying technical information such as your browser type, device type, and pages viewed.

Text message (SMS) opt-in data

If you provide your phone number and opt in to receive text messages from us through our lead form's consent checkbox, we collect and use that opt-in — including your phone number and the fact and timestamp of your consent — to send you messages related to your tree service request, such as confirming your submission or following up about a quote. Message frequency may vary depending on your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time, or reply HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data, including your phone number, with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your phone number is shared only with the specific independent tree service provider(s) matched to your request, solely so that provider can contact you to fulfill it — this is a fulfillment purpose, not a marketing-list sale. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

How we use your information

• To connect you with one or more independent, third-party tree service providers who can respond to your request.

• To follow up with you about your request by phone, text, or email.

• To improve this website and the content we publish.

• To comply with legal obligations.

We are a referral and matching service, not a tree service provider ourselves. When we connect you with a provider, we share the information necessary for that provider to contact you and perform the requested work — nothing more, and never for that provider's own separate marketing use without your separate consent.

Cookies and tracking technologies

This site uses cookies and similar technologies (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site and to measure the effectiveness of our content. These tools may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. California residents have rights under state privacy law to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children's privacy

This site and our services are intended for adults seeking tree service work for their own property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
